How we got here
Tabz was founded in New York in 2022 under the name HealNow. We started with a clear and narrow problem: pharmacies were losing time and money because patients weren't paying before orders shipped. Staff spent hours chasing payments by phone. Return-to-stock rates were high. Back offices were buried in manual work that technology should have eliminated years earlier.
We built a checkout and payments solution. It worked. Pharmacies went live in under a week, patients paid before orders shipped, and return-to-stock items dropped to near zero.
But as we worked with more pharmacies, the same pattern emerged: the problem wasn't just payments. It was the entire transaction lifecycle operating as disconnected pieces with no standard underneath them.
So we built the standard. In 2025, HealNow became Tabz — a name that reflects what the platform had grown into. Not a payments tool. The unified pharmacy commerce platform.
What we believe
